Here is how private group events work at the Lab: We start with a quick tour around the Lab, and share with your group how we design and build our full motion VR simulators. We then answer any questions about VR and VR gaming your group may have. After reviewing safety instructions and brief training, we jump right into the VR sessions!
You can find the list of VR games and VR experiences available here. Participants choose which simulator/game to play as they go, and we are happy to give recommendations. If you have a specific VR experience or game in mind, let us know and we will do our best to make it available during your event!
Our VR simulation systems are interconnected. This means participants can race each other driving in our full motion VR Racing Simulators, fight zombies in co-op mode while wearing Wireless VR Backpacks, or go against each other in PvP while running in our VR Treadmills. Whether you are in the mood for a cooperative campaign or feel more competitive, we have both.
Participation in group activities at the Lab doesn’t require prior gaming or VR experience. If you are not into gaming, no worries, we’ve got you covered: the Lab offers a large selection of non-gaming VR experiences such as Nature Treks and Tilt Brush.
During private events we allow groups to bring their own beverages (pop, wine, beer) and snacks (pizza, etc). You also have full access to our amazing private outdoor space, where we usually set up a cocktail table and benches.
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org. Let us know the date and time you would like to schedule your event, how many people will be attending, and if there is a special occasion you are celebrating. Please also let us know if your group has VR experience and if there are any special game requests. We will get back to you with availability and rates as soon as we have this information. We look forward to customizing an experience to your group’s interests!
